The release of GTA 5 Enhanced on PC was quite a big one. PC players had been waiting for the update for a long time, and well, it was worth the wait! Not only did it enhance the graphics of the existing game, but it also introduced several new features that were previously absent. It looks like Rockstar still isn’t done with GTA 5, as they’ve yet again added some improved ray-tracing features! So, without wasting much time, let’s check out the update in detail now!
GTA 5 Improved Ray-Tracing Update
Let’s first start with the improvements made to ray-traced reflections! It was reported that the reflections are now cast at full resolution after the latest update. Before this, many reported a lot of noise, even when the high-resolution ray tracing present was turned on. Thankfully, with the improvements made, cars will no longer exhibit any noise.

Similarly, another small improvement comes in the form of a new graphical option! Rockstar has added the option for a second Ray Traced Global Illumination bounce in the graphical settings. For those confused, this will improve the RTGi preset of the game, as it allows even more light to bounce across scenes in the game!
DLSS 4 is now available
We last reported that Frame Generation options are expected to be released with the latest GTA Online update. While that didn’t go as planned since those options are still nowhere to be found, the good news is that Rockstar has updated the DLSS option in the game. Instead of using the older DLSS 3 options, the game now supports DLSS 4 as well.
While you’re at it, if you’re willing to improve the graphics of GTA 5 Enhanced even further, then you should have a look at NaturalVision Enhanced. Built upon the popular graphics mode for the original game, this mod uses the improvements to enhance the game. It makes the game look even more realistic. In other news, it was recently reported that the latest rumour has revealed that GTA 6 was originally supposed to have a dark story! It was revealed that the darker stories were written by none other than Dan Houser. After over 3 rejected stories for the game, Dan eventually left the company. Sam Houser then worked on the fourth and final version of the story.
