While players have been enjoying the new content, some dataminers have managed to spot new teasers for the next major update. Users have discovered that Mansions will be added to GTA Online with the upcoming Winter update. Let’s take a detailed look at everything that has been teased.
Mansions in GTA Online
First spotted by X user Floorball, it is being reported that mansions will be added in the Winter update. The user was able to find some text strings after the update went live. He reported that a new business will also be added, from where the mansions will be purchasable. The user was also able to spot the word “MANSION_TEASER” in one of the text strings.
The user discovered the first text string that said, “Prix Luxury Real Estate”, which likely indicates the business that would sell the mansions. Meanwhile, the second text string reads, “You have earned an exclusive discount on a future property purchase with Prix Luxury Real Estate. They will be in contact again soon when properties become available.”
Good News For PlayStation Users
Along with the teases, some good news comes in for PlayStation users! GTA Online requires console-specific subscriptions for online play, but Rockstar has made the game free-to-play for PlayStation gamers for a limited time. This means that gamers on the PlayStation network will be able to play GTA Online without requiring a PlayStation Plus subscription.
However, the important thing is that this will only stay for the next 2 weeks! The limited time period has already started, so after it is over, users will need to activate PlayStation Plus subscriptions. This has most likely been done to attract more PlayStation players to join the GTA Online world. If you haven’t already dived in, it is a good time to start playing the game.
