The GTA 6 Trailer 2 has taken the world by storm and is being praised by everyone. It was recently reported that the Trailer is breaking records, as it got over 475 million views on its first day. One of the major reasons why the Trailer is being praised is because of how well the game looks! Recently, a few experts made a detailed technical analysis of the GTA 6 Trailer 2, and they went into detail talking about the visuals. So let’s have a look at what they said.
GTA 6 Trailer Technical Analysis

The experts over at Euro Gamer took a detailed look at the trailer. As per them, the “Internal resolution counts come out at 1440p, or 2560×1152 to be exact” They revealed that the resolution is “80 per cent of 1440p.” They also suggested that the game is likely using AMD’s FSR1 tech to upscale the game.
The trailer is being praised for looking very realistic by gamers. As per the experts, ray-traced global illumination is responsible for the game’s realistic look. A few weeks back, GTA 5 Enhanced was released on PC, with newer RT features not found on consoles. At that time, it was reported that the RT features on PC have been backported from GTA 6. Given the amount of difference RTGI makes, it does confirm the rumours!
60fps possible on consoles?
Ever since the launch of modern consoles like PS5 and the Xbox Series X, players have gotten used to 60fps modes. Because of this, the biggest question in everyone’s mind right now is whether GTA 6 will also be running at 60fps or not. While we do not have a clear answer to that question, based on the assumptions so far, it will likely not be the case.
Euro Gamer reported that features like Ray Traced Global Illumination are baked into the game. As per them, RTGI will be a big part of the game, and Rockstar would likely not remove it for a 60fps mode. As per them, the game’s world would look “dramatically different” even if there were a 60fps mode in the game.
Nintendo Switch 2 Launch Speculations

Nintendo Switch is a major gaming console, given the amount of popularity it shares among gamers around the world. However, the biggest complaint the Switch has faced has always been the lower-end hardware. Thankfully, with the release of the Nintendo Switch 2, the makers beefed up the hardware to push the device even further.
A few reports suggest that GTA 6 could also be launched on the Nintendo Switch 2 because of the hardware. But the experts over at Euro Gamer dismissed such rumours. As they strongly believe that it would likely not be possible. As per them, “Even running at 30fps and with a lower internal resolution, the level of fidelity and CPU demand here seems impossible to port to the Switch 2.”
