Remedy Shares Updates On Max Payne Remakes In Their Latest Investor’s Call

Ever since the Max Payne Remakes were announced, fans have been excited! While not much has been shared by Remedy officially, we have been getting some information through their Investor Call. We last covered some updates back in February. Well, we’ve received some new updates about the Max Payne Remakes this month, so let’s check them out!

Max Payne Remakes: Latest Updates

In their latest Investor Call, Remedy Games shared that the remakes are in full production now. The press release reads, “Max Payne 1 & 2 remake project has made great progress and remains in full production.” Furthermore, they also shared that “In Q1, the team has advanced steadily toward major development stages in several critical areas, working alongside the game’s publisher, Rockstar Games.”

Max Payne Remakes: When Does The Trailer Come Out?

Given that the announcement about the Max Payne Remakes came out back in 2022, it has been a long time since an official update came in. Because of this, fans have been demanding a trailer announcing a release date. Thankfully, as per the latest report by RockstarIntel, Remedy has finally talked about the trailer.

A Reddit user spotted a video in which they were asked about the trailer for the Max Payne Remakes. To which the Remedy’s CEO, Tero Virtala, replied, “Max Payne Remake will be published by Rockstar Games and all the communications, marketing, is in their hands and we are not commenting anything on that.” It’s hard to say when we would get the trailer, given that Rockstar Games hasn’t even released Trailer 2 for GTA 6, so far.

The Max Payne Remakes were originally announced by Remedy and Rockstar Games in 2022. It was announced that they will be developed as a single title for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Remedy also announced that they would be using their proprietary Northlight game engine for these remakes.

In other news, it was recently reported that if GTA 6 does get delayed, the news wouldn’t come before August. This came right after a Former Rockstar developer who has worked on GTA 4 was talking about the game. He shared how GTA 4 was delayed originally, and as per him, GTA 6 could follow a similar route.
