Ever since the delay for GTA 6 was announced, people have been speculating that the game is not complete. Many have even suggested that the game could yet again, get delayed. But is that really true? Well, it doesn’t look like that, as recently, an insider has suggested that GTA 6 is content ready, and should not suffer another delay. Let’s quickly take a look at what he said, as we have got a lot of information to cover this time!
“GTA 6 Is Content Complete”
In the latest Insider Gaming Weekly Episode, Tom Henderson was discussing about the GTA 6 delay. While the episode mainly focused on the delay announcement, and other news report about the Union Busting claims, at the end, we did also get to hear if there would be another delay to the game or not! First of all, Tom told that he has learned that this current delay to the game, will almost be costing Rockstar approximately $10 Million per month!
Tom suggests that this delay has been made, just to polish the game! As per him, the game has been content ready for a long time. But at the same time, Rockstar wants the game to be as polished as possible. He suggested that Rockstar does not have that much pressure from Take Two games, so they are taking their time, to deliver the best product possible. He said, even if there’s a single bug, Rockstar might not release the game.
Rockstar is Hiring an Associate QA Tester
It may be hard to trust an Insider, and that’s completely fine. But another news just dropped in, and it has gotten a lot of attention! Rockstar has announced that they’re looking to hire an “Associate QA Tester” at Rockstar North. In case you’re unaware, Rockstar North is indeed the main studio, responsible for the development of GTA.

The main thing is a Quality Assurance Tester is generally hired during the late development stages of the game. While we can only speculate, but this does suggests that GTA 6 may now be in an advanced polishing and quality assurance phase. Lining it up with what Tom Henderson, the Insider suggested, it does start to make even more sense now.
