With less than a year left for GTA 6 to come out, rumours about the game keep popping up frequently! However, this time around, a very reputable Analyst has published a report, suggesting some interesting details about the game. As per the Analyst, the game would make over $7 Billion dollars, within a limited time period. So let’s take a deep dive into the report.
GTA 6 Estimated Revenue
In a LinkedIn post, Josh Chapman, made a detailed breakdown predicting the revenue Rockstar would make from GTA 6. He said, “We predict that GTA VI will generate $7.6 BILLION in revenue in the first 60 Days of its launch (current release date: May 26, 2026). This will be the greatest video game release of all time; shattering player, viewership, and revenue records.”
He further also said that based on the rumored $2 Billion budget for the game, will likely be recovered within the first month itself. The major reasons for such high revenue mostly has to do with the amount of hype the game has generated. Most already call it the “Great Video Game Release” of all time, after it was reported that GTA 6 Trailer 2 is breaking records.

Price Predictions
We’ve already talked about GTA 6’s pricing in our detailed post: How Much Will GTA 6 Cost? As per our predictions, given the Industry pricing, we assumed it would easily cost $80. Well looks like our guess was correct, as the report suggested the same. The Analyst has said that the base pricing would be $80, with further premium editions costing more.

GTA 6 as a Creator Platform
A few months back, it was reported that Rockstar wants to make GTA 6 the next Creator Platform like Roblox! Well, looks like the leak is still intact, as the report has mentioned about the same. It said that the game “Will have a UGC component that includes creator payouts for server hosts, mod creators, and more (mimicking the creator economics of UEFN and Roblox)”

With that said, it was recently reported that after 13 years, Rockstar Games has finally shut down the Social Club service! While Rockstar has not made any official announcement regarding this, reliable sources suggest that it is likely because the service would be getting a major revamp because of the launch of GTA 6 in less than a year.
