iFruit Radio is one of the most iconic radio stations, featured in GTA 5. Hosted by the famous artist Danny Brown, he’s also known for the character of Yung Ancestor in the game. Well, given the hype surrounding the sequel, it looks like the rapper is looking to make a comeback, too. Recently, he shared that he wants his radio station, iFruit Radio, to return in GTA 6. Let’s take a look at what he said, in detail!
iFruit Radio in GTA 6
Danny was recently in an interview with Variety, discussing about his career. Since most of the interview focused on his past work experiences, we learned about his role in GTA 5 briefly. Right off the bat, he said, “I’ve done a lot of things with ‘GTA,’” referring to his work on GTA 5! He discussed on how he curated and hosted the iFruit Radio in the game.
But after that, he talked about how he wants to return to the franchise. He said, “Hopefully they have me back, last time I was a drunk fool,” suggesting that he is indeed interested in returning to the game franchise. Given the hype surrounding the game, it is expected that Danny would want to return. His character, Yung Ancestor, is quite famous among fans.
While Rockstar hasn’t made any announcement related to his comeback, a few fans were quick enough to notice a hint. If you notice in the image attached above, right beside Boobie Ike, another person can also be seen. Looking closely at the person’s t-shirt reveals the name of Yung Ancestor, who is indeed the character played by Danny. Whether it’s just a throwback to the character or Danny is actually in the game, only time will tell that!
