GTA 3 is one of the most iconic video games of all time. It was released all the way back in 2001 for the PS2, the original Xbox, and PC. Later in 2021, the game was remastered and released as part of the GTA Definitive Trilogy for PC, mobiles, and modern consoles. Today we’re going to be seeing the cheat codes for the game, and these will work with both the GTA 3 Legacy version and the Definitive Edition too.
Rockstar doesn’t recommend saving after using cheats due to issues that you could run into, which would affect further progress. Achievements can be permanently disabled once you’ve used cheat codes too, so it’s usually best to reload a previous save after you’ve used any of the cheats in the game.

Using these cheat codes is very simple too, as all you need to do is just type the words on your PC keyboard or press the button combinations on your controller for the console version while playing the game. You don’t need to pause; you can do this while playing the game too. However, if you’re playing the Definitive Edition on mobile, then you can go to the pause menu, and in the accessibility section, there is an option for putting cheat codes via the in-game virtual keyboard.
