Gamers Discuss Possibility Of 60FPS In GTA 6 After The Witcher 4 Tech Demo

Ever since the release of GTA 6 Trailer 2, gamers around the world have been stunned by the visuals of the game. The heavy push towards ray tracing is something that has surprised everyone. However, at the same time, gamers have also been disappointed that, because of how heavy the game is, there will be no 60fps mode on consoles. But after the latest Witcher 4 tech demo dropped, a new debate has sparked, and people are now discussing the possibility of a 60fps in GTA 6. Let’s check out what has happened so far!

“GTA 6 is COOKED”

After seeing the latest Witcher 4 Tech demo, gamers have been praising CD Projekt Red as the game was seen running at 60fps with ray-tracing on the base PlayStation 5. Since then, the biggest talking point so far has been the possibility of a 60fps mode in GTA 6 as well! Few users have gone as far as to say that “GTA 6 is Cooked”, as they felt the visuals on The Witcher 4 were better! But well, there’s much more to the story. So let’s uncover that in detail!

GTA 6 Biggest Launch

Tech Demo, Not Gameplay

In their press release, CDPR first talked about the technical details of the demo! They revealed that the game runs on the PlayStation 5 at 60FPS with ray-tracing! Along with that, they also showed off in-engine capabilities, including the new “Unreal Animation Framework, Nanite Foliage rendering, MetaHuman technology with Mass AI crowd scaling, and more.”

But it’s important to note that this is just a tech demo, and not the actual gameplay. Given the overwhelming response to the tech demo, the developers later had to clarify the same to VGC News. A spokesperson from CDPR said, “This is a tech demo, and a first look at the cutting-edge technology powering The Witcher 4 – but not The Witcher 4 itself,”
