Take Two Interactive, Rockstar Games’ parent company, has shut down a mod menu ‘2Take1′ that was available for GTA Online. The mod menu was very popular among the GTA Online community, so this has shocked a lot of people. There’s much more to the story that needs to be known, so let’s dive right into it without wasting any time!
GTA Online Mod Menu 2Take1
Before the introduction of BattleEye, the online experience on PC was not good as it was filled with cheaters, which made it difficult for normal players. However, Rockstar has been very strict against cheaters after the program was released last year. Mod Menus like 2Take1 are used by cheaters to exploit the game and gain an advantage, so the shut down of this mod menu is likely because of the same reason.
The developer of the 2Take1 posted a message on their Discord which said, “Hello everyone, it saddens me to say this announcement only brings bad news. As much as we’ve always said 2Take1Menu will remain usable in some way as long as GTA:O was working, the situation has changed and this is unfortunately no longer the case”
Furthermore, the message said, “A few days ago, the current management team of the menu were contacted via email by lawyers representing Take-Two interactive, the holding company that owns Rockstar Games. In these emails, the lawyers presented enough information that we are almost certain the email is legitimate”

Although Take Two has not taken any legal action against the team, the team posted that the Take Two representatives were clear on what they wanted. According to the team, they said, “Shut down the menu and website, stop developing anything related to 2Take1Menu, stop distributing menu keys or we will take legal action against you.”
