Rockstar Games has enabled some new features that were available on Discord. They’ve added this feature a lot of their previous games too. Along with that there has been updates to the Rockstar Games Launcher on PC too. So let’s check out everything that has been added!
Discord Features on more games
It was recently reported by Popular GTA Insider Tez2 that Rockstar Games is adding features of Discord to their games. Well, as it turns out there has been an update. Rockstar Games have enabled support for Discord’s Rich Presense into GTA 5. This feature will allow users to display data of the game they’re playing in their user profile. It allows users to display what they’re doing while they’re in-game.
Not only this, but Rockstar has added supported for even more games for the same feature. Both the regular editon and the upcoming next-gen edition on PC will also support it. Along with that the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition, Red Dead Redemption and Red Dead Redemption 2 will support this feature too.
The insider has also reported that there has been a new update to the Rockstar Games launcher. The update includes support for GTA 5 Next Gen Edition, Cfx/FiveM have been integrated, Discord has been added, the GTA+ membership has also been added, and then support for Xbox App has been added for players who play GTA 5 via PC Game Pass.
With the addition of GTA 5 Next Gen Edition into Rockstar Games launcher, it looks like the pre-load option for the game will also be added shortly. For those unaware, PC players will require at least 105GB in order to install the game on their PC. Given that Rockstar usually offers pre-downloads a week before the release of their game, it should be available soon.
