The hype for GTA 6 is not going down any time soon, as days pass; gamers are starting to get even more excited for the release of the game. As of now, we don’t have any information about the exact release date from Rockstar themselves. They also have not given out details about the pre-orders for their game yet; however, one retailer has already listed the game for pre-order on their site, so let’s check and see if the listing is legit or not!
Retailer lists GTA 6 for Pre-Orders, Along With Price
The popular retailer PlayAsia has listed GTA 6 on their website for pre-order. People can pre-order the game through their website for both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. According to their listing, the game is expected to ship in Q4, 2025, which seems to be on track with the current scheduled release date for the game.
The listing also mentions the price of the game as ₹6,330 or $69.99, which is interesting since there were a few reports that the price of the game could be $100. As of now, Rockstar has not announced any details for the pre-order of this game, so it looks like PlayAsia has made this listing on its own.
While a lot of people may not know PlayAsia, it is a very old site that sells video games. It was established in Hong Kong and has been around since 2002. The website sells imported games, gadgets, gaming console accessories, and more. While they cater to the Asia-Pacific region, they also offer most of the products to international buyers.
We reached out to the retailer Play Asia, asking for their comment on this matter, to which Danielle Calpo from their Customer Service team told us, “Please note that ‘The Grand Theft Auto 6’ pre-order listing on our website is based on information provided by our supplier. However, please note that this information is not yet officially confirmed and may be subject to change. At this time, we do not have verified details regarding the final pricing or release specifics from the publisher.”
Given his comment, we feel like it would be better to wait for an official announcement from Rockstar before pre-ordering the game from anywhere.

Aside from GTA 6, the website has also listed a few unreleased games like Resident Evil 9 and Death Stranding: On The Beach. So it looks like the website starts taking pre-orders from their side even before the games are released. All in all, these listings can be ignored as they don’t tell us anything official.
According to a few reports, GTA 6 is reported to make over $1 billion just in pre-orders even before the game releases. Analysts have also predicted that the game could easily generate over $3 billion in revenue for Take-Two Interactive in the first year of the release of the game.
