Take Two CEO On Gaming Moving Towards PCs

PC as a platform has evolved a lot! While consoles like the PS5 continue to remain popular among gamers, the industry has seen that a lot of people are moving to PCs. We saw the reveal of Valve’s Steam Machine, a few days back, and Microsoft is also inclined on a Console/PC hybrid for their next iteration. But what does the CEO of the biggest video game company think about this move? Well Take Two CEO Strauss Zelnick was recently in an interview, and he has spoken about the move towards Gaming PCs!

Gaming Moving Towards PCs

In an interview with CNBC, Zelnick said, “I think it’s moving towards PC and business is moving towards open rather than closed,” Furthermore he also stated, “But if you define console as the property, not the system, then the notion of a very rich game that you engage in for many hours that you play on a big screen — that’s never going away.”

Future Games Coming to PC

While Zelnick has not hinted at the PC release for GTA 6 in this interview, however, previously he did say, “Rockstar has an approach to platforms which we’ve seen before, and they’ll make more announcements in due time. I do believe that the right strategy for our business is to be where the consumer is, and historically what this company has done is address consumers anywhere they are, on any platform that makes sense over time.”
