Rockstar Games has a ton of studios around the globe. Given the current stage of their upcoming game, GTA 6, it is likely that a ton of studios are working on the game. We might have got even more information about the studios working on the game. As per a new job listing, Rockstar Games is hiring game testers for their Office in India. Let’s dive deep into how this might be related to GTA 6!
Rockstar Games is hiring Game Testers

In case you didn’t know, before Rockstar India was formed, Rockstar worked with Technicolor India for games like Red Dead Redemption, L.A. Noire and Max Payne 3. They set a dedicated unit for their games within Technicolor India in 2012. However, later in 2016, they opened a dedicated studio and named it Rockstar India. Most recently, the Indian office has contributed in the development of Red Dead Redemption 2 from 2018. While most of the developers from the Indian office were credited with working on game design animation and AI, they also did QA Testing for the game.
So this is likely not an ordinary job listing, as according to the past leaks that happened when GTA 6 was leaked. It suggests that Rockstar India is working on the Vice Beach area of the map, which is going to be a big area on the game. Given how big that area is, they’re most likely looking for QA testers for the section of the game now. If the Fall 2025 release for GTA 6 is still in place, then this job listing is most probably for GTA 6 testing.
According to the job listing posted on the website, “Rockstar India is on the lookout for passionate, enthusiastic and self-motivated individuals to join our QA team. This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar’s large game development studio in Bangalore, India.”
