Rockstar Games has rolled out a new weekly update for GTA Online for August. The update was released yesterday, and it’s the first one of the month! The update was released on 7th August and will be applicable until 13th August. It brings many new, exciting changes that are time-limited. So, without wasting any further time, let’s check them out.
New Weekly Changes:
First up, let’s start with the weekly challenge. By eliminating three bounties for Martin Madrazo, players have the chance to earn GTA$100,000. Meanwhile, the FIB Priority Files see the return of the Project Breakaway File this time around. The Featured series, meanwhile, sees the return of the following modes:
- Deadline I, Deadline V, Deadline IX, Deadline XI
- Tiny Racers II, Tiny Racers IV, Tiny Racers VI, Tiny Racers VII
Let’s also look at the Salvage Yard Robberies, as they’ve been updated with some exciting rewards! The Low Tier comes with the Podium Robbery: Willard Eudoram, meanwhile, the Standard tier comes with the McTony Robbery: Bravado Buffalo STX. Last but not least, the Top Tier includes the Duggan Robbery: Lampadati Cinquemila.
This week’s rewards:
Players are eligible for 3X GTA$ & RP this week on all Martin Madrazo Contact Missions, and yes, that includes the Madrazo Dispatch Services. The same goes for the Community Race Series. Not only that, but 2X GTA$ & RP will be available on all Madrazo Hits and the Featured Series. Lastly, the 2X GTA$ has been applied to Auto Shop Client Jobs.
This week’s Lucky Wheel Podium Vehicle includes the Karin Boor. If you manage to place top 5 in the LS Car Meet Series, then the Prize Ride will include the Declasse Drift Tampa. The Premium Race includes the Criminal Records. The Time Trial includes the LSIA, and the Hao’s Special Works Time Trial gets the East Vinewood to Vespucci Beach race.

Aside from regular discounts, this week’s gun van discounts feature the Military Rifle, available at a 30% discount for a limited time. Not only that, but if you’ve subscribed to GTA+, then you can get the Stun Gun at a 30% discount.
Rockstar discussed the Rapid GT X, which is now on sale.
