Since it was reported that GTA 4 would be ported over to modern consoles, fans have been excited! While the news about GTA 4 was already exciting, some reports also stated that a Max Payne 3 remake/remaster would also be in the works. But well, it looks like we have got some new clarification about it. Let’s take a look at what has happened!
Max Payne 3 Port
Recently, the famous GTA Insider Tez2 gave a statement, clarifying any reports about a Max Payne 3. As per him, at the given moment, there is no proof that a Max Payne 3 remake/remaster or port is in the works at Rockstar. He also said that even if it gets released in the future, it wouldn’t be a remake, but rather a port, similar to the GTA 4 port.
On the GTAForums, Tez2 replied to a user, “I didn’t say it’s in works”. Furthermore, he also said, it’s “Not a remake. R*/T2 had a plan on paper, back in 2020, for remasters, and MP3 was listed. This plan changed significantly after the release of GTA Trilogy DE. Anyhow, I have no idea if a MP3 port is in the works or not, so to be safe, assume it’s not”

In other news, it was reported that a new mod for RDR2 has been released. The mod description by the author suggests that it aims to bring visual upgrades. It brings enhanced ambient occlusion, vibrant colours, disabled ped light, finer texture detail, and other improvements to the game. It uses the promotional materials to improve the graphical quality.
