Did you know, that even before getting released, GTA 6 has already been nominated for an award at the Game Awards? While it wasn’t the Game of the Year award, instead, the game was nominated for the most anticipated game. Well, ever since the first delay for the game, it has pushed the game to 2026! And surprisingly, the game has also been nominated once again.
GTA 6 Nominated for the Most Anticipated Game
The Game Award nominations were released recently, and in case you didn’t know, along with the Game of the Year award, there are several other awards too! Out of which, GTA 6 was nominated once again for the Most Anticipated Game, twice in a row! The other nominated games include: 007 First Light, Marvel’s Wolverine, Resident Evil Requiem and Witcher 4!

Oh by the way, last year at the Game Awards, GTA 6 did win the award for the Most Anticipated game! It’ll be interesting to see if it does so this year too? Well, the competitors are definitely stronger this year. But if Rockstar does manage to sweep this award once again, I’m sure it has to be some sort of record. Let’s just hope it stays until this year only!
