GTA 6 Gameplay Leak Confirmed: Former Rockstar Developer Showcases Exciting Feature

X and Reddit have been overflowing with fake, AI-generated GTA 6 clips for months. But this time, a real GTA 6 gameplay leak has surfaced. The new GTA 6 gameplay leak confirmed an exciting feature found in the official GTA 6 screenshot. It comes from the demo reel of a former Rockstar developer, and unlike the usual fakes, this one is authentic. Here is how it appeared online and what it actually shows.

GTA 6 Gameplay Leak Confirmed

This demo reel was first spotted on the r/GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit, where fans noticed that an ex-Rockstar developer had unknowingly leaked GTA 6 footage. The animator, Ben Chue, had uploaded his reel on Vimeo, a private video-sharing platform. According to user Badger Goodger, the reel had been sitting there for two months without anyone noticing.

This means the footage is not from any recently fired developer. It is simply an NDA slip-up, and Take-Two Interactive’s legal team will likely step in soon.

GTA 6 Leaked Gameplay Clip

The leaked footage is only 15 seconds long, taken from a two-minute-and-fifteen-second demo reel. It shows a male character removing a bicycle from a rack, riding it, and placing it back. The entire setup appears to be a bike-rental system similar to Miami’s Citi Bike service. In the clip, the bikes are branded as LomBike, clearly a parody of LimeBike, the well-known San Francisco-based transportation company.

The animation in this sequence looks incredibly smooth. The character walks the bike backward to remove it from the stand, the pedals shift naturally, and every movement stays fully grounded. He even places the bike back into the rack with perfect precision.

A similar bike-sharing system can be seen in one of Rockstar’s official GTA 6 screenshots. In the third Vice City image, a rental bike is visible on the sidewalk, matching the design shown in the leak. The blue colour scheme of the bicycle is also similar to the Citi Bikes.

Another short three-second scene features a female character standing on top of a truck before dropping down onto the street. The Ocean View hotel is visible in the background. Two versions of the animation appear in the reel: in one, she stands on the truck roof and drops onto the cargo bed before stepping onto the street; in the other, she is sitting in the cargo bed and casually hops down. Both shots showcase the same smooth, detailed animation style.

Interestingly, many fans believe that the female character shown here might actually be Lucia.

Legal Consequences

As mentioned earlier, the clip is part of a demo reel that also includes animations from other Rockstar titles such as Red Dead Redemption 2, Max Payne 3, GTA 5, and more. A few hours after the reel went viral, the Vimeo link stopped working, most likely because the owner removed it. The leaked clips are still circulating on X, but there is a good chance Take Two Interactive and Rockstar Games will take them down soon.

The level of detail in these GTA 6 animations is remarkable and only adds to the growing excitement for the game. It also reinforces the belief that GTA 6 will be far ahead of anything else on the market when it launches. One industry insider even claimed that GTA 6 is 15 to 20 years ahead of every other game.

For fans, this leak at least breaks the long silence around GTA 6. But there is a downside: the developer responsible for the reel may face legal consequences for this mistake, and in the worst case, it could impact their future in the industry. Hopefully, studios will focus on his talent and the quality of his work instead of this slip-up.
