Michael’s boat in the GTA 6 trailer has been the most talked-about reference since the trailer got released. But well, we’ve already covered that previously! This time around, you’d be surprised to know that aside from the boat, some fans have spotted yet another reference to Michael in the latest GTA 6 screenshots. Keep reading to find out more about it!
Michael’s Movie in GTA 6
If you’ve played GTA 5, then you’d be quite aware of Michael’s love for movies. In one of the missions, his love for films is made clear. While talking about video games with Lester, Michael talks about classic movies. He says, “I’m a movie guy, Classic Vinewood”. Not only that, but there’s an entire mission dedicated to attending a movie premiere later on in the game, too.
The reference being mentioned here looks like a throwback to the same mission in GTA 5. First spotted by @BeskInfinity via X, he was quick enough to locate the poster of the movie “Meltdown” in one of the GTA 6 videos via Rockstar’s website. In case you forgot, the movie has indeed been produced by Michael De Santa in GTA 5.
Given all the references we’ve seen so far, fans are expecting a cameo of Michael in the game! While his boat’s reference may not be strong enough to convince fans, now that his movie has been referenced, chances are we might see him return as a movie producer. With that said, what other characters would you like to see returning from other GTA games in GTA 6?
