Rockstar Games has rolled out a new weekly update for GTA Online from 1st May to 8th May. It brings many new things that are limited for this week only. So, without wasting any further time, let’s get into all the new changes.
New Weekly Changes:
This week’s challenge involves winning two open-wheel races, which grants a reward of GTA$100,000. Aside from that, this week’s FIB Priority File sees the return of the “Brute Force File”. The premium race involves the Art to Art race, but it has been locked to Motorcycle only. The Time Trial involves the Mount Gordo race. Last but not least, if you’re playing the Enhanced edition, you can play HSW Time Trial with Ron Alternates to Elysian Island.
This week’s rewards:
As for rewards, gamers can get up to 4x GTA$ and RP on the returning Open Wheel Races. Aside from that, there are also 2x GTA$ and RP have been added to Tow Truck Services and Payphone Hits. Although if you’re a GTA+ member, you can get up to 4x rewards instead of the regular rewards on Payphone Hits. There’s also a bonus, which involves completing three open-wheel races, after which you receive the Dark Manor Suit.

Aside from regular discounts, this week’s gun van discounts feature the Military Rifle, which will be available for 50% off. If you’ve subscribed to GTA+, then you can get the Heavy Rifle at a 30% discount. Not only that, but the El Strickler Military Rifle would also be available for free.

While Rockstar’s Newswire is yet to post about the new update, the post on r/GTAOnline reads, “This week in GTA Online, Open Wheel Races return with a stunning 4X GTA$ and RP across seven top tracks. Completing three Open Wheel Races will get you the Dark Manor Suit while winning two will fulfill the Weekly Challenge, resulting in a bonus GTA$100,000.”
In other news, it was recently reported that Borderlands 4 will release 2 weeks earlier than its original release date. While most fans believed that this decision was taken to make space for GTA 6. However, Gearbox’s CEO, Randy Pitchford, later confirmed that this decision has not been made because of any other game.
