For the past few days, a Beta build for GTA 5 from PS3 has been catching a lot of attention in the GTA community! Leaked right at the start of the month, what most believed was an April Fool’s joke turned out to be real! Lots of users have started playing around with the build and have noticed some unused assets from the beta build. One user took it into his own hands and has started porting over those beta assets to the PC version of the game! Let’s check out the progress the modder has made so far!
GTA 5 Beta Assets

The user Transmet on X showcased the ‘v_6_aliens.cdr’ file from the leaked Beta build for GTA 5. As you can see, the image showcases three aliens, and they are resting on operating tables. The user further tells that they’re likely in the Zancudo bunker area, which, if you didn’t know, has been connected to the Mount Chilliad mystery in the past! He also noticed some other alien models from the build, which are attached in the original tweet!
Later on, the modder shared that work is going on for converting the 3D models from the PS3 GTA 5 Beta build to the GTA 5 PC versions. In simple words, what it means is that we will soon be able to able to see the beta assets that were leaked. As they would be published on modding websites and made available to the public.

In the latest tweet, the modder shared the progress that he has made so far! According to the modder, there are still a few transcoding issues that need to be resolved. Further, an image was shared that showcases the Aliens Laboratory on the PC version. As of now, the exact release date has not been revealed by the modder. But if there’s any update, we’ll be sure to let you know!
In other news, it was recently reported that the original GTA Game Designer is not happy with the long wait for GTA 6. In an interview, he said, “It’s getting ridiculous how long it’s been since the last one.” He later talked about all the things that he would like to see in the game when it comes out.
