While the wait for GTA 6 continues, players are still actively playing GTA 5 and GTA Online. Both games continue to be the most played games on modern consoles like the PS5. A large base of users played both GTA 5 and GTA Online through the PlayStation Plus catalogue on the PlayStation consoles. But gamers using the service are going to be disappointed after knowing that both games are going to leave the service soon.
GTA 5 to leave PlayStation Plus
Push Square recently reported the list of games that would be leaving PlayStation Plus service. Along with the other 22 games, the list also included the PS4 and PS5 versions of GTA 5 and GTA Online. The game was added back in November 2024, and it will be removed next month, on 20th May. So, given the period, it stayed on the service for approximately 6 months, which is usually how long a game stays on services like PlayStation Plus.

It is disappointing news for PlayStation users that GTA 5 is getting removed from PlayStation Plus. However, Xbox Game Pass users would be glad to know that GTA 5 was recently added to the service. PC Game Pass users can play both the Legacy and Enhanced Editions of the game. FiveM recently added support for the Game Pass edition of the game as well.
