Kojima talked about the original release date for Death Stranding 2 after a listener asked about the game’s release date. He revealed that the release date for the game was decided a long time ago. As per him, he preferred that the game get a September release. However, unfortunately, they had to set the change to June, as otherwise, there was chances that the game would clash with GTA 6.
Kojima during the podcast said, “For example some are saying GTA may or may not release in November. As soon as it would be announced for November, everyone would move out of they way. For instance, if a new Mission Impossible movie were to release in May, others wouldn’t be able to compete with that so would move somewhere else.”
