While Rockstar might not reveal any news related to GTA 6, fans can’t seem to stop enjoying their older games! GTA 5 is already a very popular game, because of the regular updates to GTA Online. Very recently, GTA Online Oscar Guzman Flies Again Update was released. However, even Red Dead Redemption 2 is getting a lot of love from gamers, as it was revealed that it has been the most downloaded game on PlayStation in February.
RDR2: Most Downloaded Game on PlayStation
In their new PlayStation Blog post, it was revealed that Red Dead Redemption 2 is still the most downloaded game on PlayStation Store in the US and Canada region. While it stands at the 3rd place in the European regions. This is not the first time, the game has become the most downloaded game, however, it is for the third month in a row. Wow, popularity for the game is not dying down anytime soon.
One thing to note is that unlike GTA 5, which got a dedicated patch for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles, Red Dead Redemption 2 has not got any next-gen patch as of now. So it means that the PS5 still runs the PS4 Pro version of the game, running at upscaled 2160p and 30fps. It also means that the game counts as a PS4 title in the PlayStation Store. We hope Rockstar releases a patch soon!
Even after that, Red Dead Redemption seems to be on a roll! Rockstar revealed that the game has hit 70 million copies sold, which now makes it close to being the 6th best selling game of all time. Not only is the game selling well even after so many years of the release, fans of the game are still very much into the game. Fans of Red Dead Online brought back the Save Red Dead Online Campaign.

In other news, Take Two games have started to get stricter against cheaters. They banned a mod menu that allowed players to cheat on GTA Online. Not only that, but they also recently took legal action against a company selling GTA Online accounts. It’ll be interesting to see what other measures will be taken once GTA 6 comes out!
