Last month, Rockstar Games released an update for GTA Online, the Oscar Guzman Flies Again. With the update, we got to see a character from GTA 5, making a return to Los Santos! Well, it looks like another character is coming back to Los Santos after quite a while. Rockstar Games has teased the return of a fan-favorite character in GTA Online in their latest newswire post. Let’s take a look at who’s returning!
Who’s making a return?
In their latest Newswire post about the new GTA Online update, Rockstar Games teased the return of a character! The post reads, “Keep an eye out for one of San Andreas’ most ambitious entrepreneurs getting high on his own supply. Get ready for a fresh spin on a classic mode, as well as a trove of themed rewards, just in time for 4/20.”
If you’re wondering who the person is, it is none other than the Fan-Favorite Character, Lamar Davis! Yes, that’s right, Franklin’s best friend is making a comeback! Tez2 via X shared that in next week’s update for GTA Online, the Hunting Pack Adversary Mode is likely to get an update! That is where we would be seeing Lamar!
Alongside the return of Lamar, he also shared the Expected Clothing items players would receive with the next update. Since it’s 4/20 next week, the clothing items also follow the same theme. Here’s the list of items that are expected to be made available:
- Green 420 Festival Outfit
- Multicolor 420 Festival Outfit
- Green 420 Festival Hat
- Multicolor 420 Festival Hat
- Güffy Drug Rug Hoodie

In other news, it was recently reported that GTA 5 Beta Assets from PS3 are being ported over to the PC version. In case you didn’t know, right at the start of the month, a beta build for GTA 5 was leaked. A user noticed some unseen assets, which were cut out from the final build, and has started working on porting them over to the game!
