All the GTA games have had some of the greatest radio stations ever. If you’re a true fan of the GTA series, then it is highly likely that you would remember the popular radio stations. One of the popular stations included Fusion FM, which was in GTA 4. The station featured Roy Ayers, who was the host of the Radio Station.
Roy Ayers, Radio Station Host From GTA 4
Unfortunately, the popular artist Roy Ayers is no more with us. He passed away on March 4th. Reacting to this sad news, in their latest tweet on X, Rockstar Games paid tribute to the late Roy Ayers, and said, “Rest In Peace to the pioneer of Jazz Funk and host of Fusion FM, the legend Roy Ayers.”
In case you didn’t know, Fusion FM is a radio station that was featured in GTA 4. The radio station was hosted by Roy Ayers and it was a fan-favorite. It played a bunch of songs by Roy Ayers, which included genres like acid jazz, jazz fusion and jazz funk.
Roy Ayers’ family made a post on Facebook announcing, “It is with great sadness that the family of legendary vibraphonist, composer and producer Roy Ayers announce his passing which occurred on March 4th, 2025 in New York City after a long illness. He lived a beautiful 84 years and will be sorely missed. His family ask that you respect their privacy at this time, a celebration of Roy’s life will be forthcoming.”

In other news, it was recently reported that the popular artist DJ Khaled could have his radio station in the upcoming game, GTA 6. Furthermore, the report also stated that along with him, more artists could have their own radio stations too.
