Rockstar Games has released a new update for Red Dead Online for May. This new update brings new challenges, rewards and clothing items for players. The event will be available for a limited time. It was released on April 29th and will be applicable till June 2nd. Let’s check out everything that has been added!
Red Dead Online May Update
Rockstar Games is offering 2x RDO$ and XP on a bunch of things. These include the Collector Set Sales, the Naturalist Sample Sales, and all Bounty Hunter Missions. Along with that, they’re also applicable to the Moonshine Sales and Trader Sales.
Featured Series Updates
The Featured Series have been updated, and players can earn Double RDO$ and XP. Further series updates include:
- April 29 – May 5: Hardcore Pro Series 2
- May 6 – 12: Shootout Series
- May 13 – 19: Takeover Series
- May 20 – 26: Explosive Series
- May 27 – June 2: Hardcore Pro Series 3
Challenges and Rewards
This month’s rewards include logging in to the game to claim the brown Benbow Jacket. Aside from that, all roles can also earn an offer for 40% off Established or Distinguished role items by completing the following activities throughout the month:
- April 29 – May 5: Hunt a Legendary Animal to receive an Offer for 40% off an Established or Distinguished Trader Role Item
- May 6 – 12: Gather three Collectables to receive an Offer for 40% off an Established or Distinguished Collector Role Item
- May 13 – 19: Rank 20 Moonshiners can log in to receive an Offer for 50% off any Established or Distinguished Role Item
- May 20 – 26: Rank 20 Naturalists can log in to receive an Offer for 40% off an Established or Distinguished Naturalist Role Item
- May 27 – June 2: Complete a Legendary Bounty Mission to receive an Offer for 40% off an Established or Distinguished Bounty Hunter Role Item
Clothing & Outfits
The Danube Outfit, Tasman Outfit, Darned Stockings, Shaffer Chaps, Folwell Hat, and Eberhart Coat are coming back to the game. All these outfits will be available for a limited time at Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Catalogue till June 2.
Aside from that, this month’s community outfits are made by OhhCurly__. The list of items includes: the Tiltham Hat, the Opulent Vest for males and the Chambliss Corset for females. It also includes the Salcedo Shirt for males, the Goodale Shirtwaist for females. Along with the Bandito Pants and Blackburn Boots for males and Aguirre Boots for females.

The post on Rockstar’s Newswire website reads, “The entire frontier economy is roaring in Red Dead Online this month. Bounty Hunters are hauling in targets by the dozen, Traders are cashing in on rising demand with stockpiles of prized pelts, and Collectors are roaming the land in search of hidden treasures.”
In other news, it was recently reported that the 2025 Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix trailer was inspired by GTA 6. The trailer was made by a French television company, and it has been in talks ever since it came out. It has the same music, “Love Is a Long Road” from the GTA 6 trailer. It also follows a similar style to the GTA 6 Trailer 1.
