PlayStation and Rockstar Games go long back, both companies have had a good relationship over the past few years. We’ve seen marketing deals from both companies ever since the PS2 era. Rockstar’s previous game Red Dead Redemption 2, even had a marketing deal with PlayStation, because of which he got to see the PS4 Pro RDR2 bundle. Well, it looks like, GTA 6 is also going to get the same treatment. As rumours suggest a marketing deal is indeed in the works between Playstation and Rockstar for GTA 6! “Big Marketing Deal” For GTA 6
In 2024, the popular X account Detective Seeds said that PlayStation had established a marketing deal with Rockstar for GTA 6. Rumours suggested that it wouldn’t be a timed exclusive deal or platform exclusive deal. However, ever since then, we have not heard any more news about the deal going forward.
But recently, the same X account shared some interesting insights. First of all, he claims that PlayStation is going to announce two partnerships before the Summer Show, don’t worry those are unrelated to GTA 6. The big scoop here is that aside from the partnerships, there is also going to be a “big marketing deal”, and yes this this indeed related to GTA 6.

While we don’t expect to hear about the release date of GTA 6 from PlayStation, a PS5 Pro bundle would likely be revealed, given the previous deals that happened between the companies. It would be interesting to see if we also get to see some PlayStation-exclusive content for the game in the future.
In other news, new rumours suggest that the new Discord Social SDK feature could replace Text Chats From GTA Online. In case you didn’t know GTA 5 Enhanced removed the support for text chats on PC, and players have been angry over the change ever since.
