Less than 24 hours since the GTA 6 Trailer 2 came out, it has become the talk of the town. Many developers have been impressed by the quality of the trailer. Most people are calling the graphics of the game very realistic. But what do former Rockstar developers think about the game? The game designer who worked on the original GTA game, Mike Dailly, recently shared his opinion on the GTA 6 trailer. Let’s see what he said about the game.
Original GTA Designer On GTA 6
Mike posted his thoughts on the trailer on his Bluesky account. His initial thoughts were, “That environment is lovely, and things are moving much better”. His post further is an appreciation towards Rockstar for not shipping an unpolished game. He likes that Rockstar decided to delay the game for further improvements. He said, “Even if they’d released it broken, it’d still have sold hugely. So it’s even more impressive they took the decision to delay it.”
He even replied to a comment asking for a comment on his thoughts on a trailer. While he didn’t share much, he did say that the game “Looks very pretty, and they mad the right call to delay if there was any issue, be that bugs/gameplay to give gamers the best experience possible.” Mike took an example of Frontier: Elite II on PC and said that was one of the games where “greed got in the way”.

In other news, it was recently reported that Remedy shared updates on the Max Payne Remakes. Their latest earnings call revealed that the remakes are going well after they went into full production. Remedy’s CEO revealed that since Rockstar Games is handling the marketing of the remakes, they can’t give a date for the trailers.
