Rockstar Games has released a new update for GTA Online on 19th February for PC players. Along with some minor bug fixes, it looks like the game may have also added Discord integration. The developer has also given out a small list of patch notes; you can check out what’s new here!
What’s new with the update?
This new update for GTA Online, which was released on 19th February, comes in at around 931 MB on Steam, and players can update their games now. It was first spotted by a Twitter user, @PLTytus. The patch note on Rockstar Support for the update mentions “General fixes for stability and security.”
Along with the minor fixes, it looks like Rockstar Games is also integrating a few Discord features with this update. The feature being talked about here is Discord’s Rich Presence, which lets the user display data in the user profile. So now your profile will display what you’re doing in-game. This was spotted by Tez2; as of now, it has not been enabled, but it looks like it will require a Rockstar Games Launcher update for it to work.
In case you didn’t know, Rockstar Games also released their own Discord server a few days back. The server has channels for both GTA Online and Red Dead Online as well.
