Leslie Benzies, the former producer of GTA games, who worked on every GTA game since GTA 3, left the studio in 2016! Ever since then, he has been working on his studio, and their first game, MindsEye, will be released this year. A few fans have noticed a fun little throwback to older Rockstar titles in the trailer of the game. Let’s check it out!
MindsEye New Trailer Gives A Throwback!
After the trailer of MindsEye was released, this little throwback to the older Rockstar titles was spotted by a few fans. In the latest trailer, if you notice closely around the 34-second mark, there’s a little reference! In case you don’t get it, let me explain! See the two cars, one being the red car, while the other is a white car?
Well, these cars give out hidden references to older Rockstar titles! First of all, if you remember the poster of Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition, it features the same style of red and white cars parked in the same way! Not only that, but if you remember GTA 5’s intro mission, not the prologue, but the mission where you play as Franklin! The mission is titled ‘Franklin and Lamar’, and in that mission, you have to steal two cars, which are a white and a red car, again parked in the same way!
