GTA 6 PlayStation Store Listing
Right after the trailer was released, the listing on the PlayStation Store went live. The listing mentions the release date as May 26th, 2026. Gamers can even wishlist the game right away to get the latest information as soon as it comes out.
The information section of the game mentions the plot: “Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.”
No Microsoft Store Listing?
While PlayStation players have already wishlisted the game on the PlayStation Store, Xbox users, on the other hand, have been worried. That’s because, so far, the game hasn’t been listed on the Microsoft Store. Well, worry not, as Take-Two Interactive has already cleared out the confusion on this matter.
In a press release, Take Two said, “Grand Theft Auto VI will soon be available for wishlisting on both the PlayStation and Microsoft Stores.” Many were speculating that it is likely because of the rumoured PlayStation and Rockstar Deal. However, Take Two has dismissed any such rumours with this statement.
When do the Pre-Orders go live?
The big question in everyone’s mind is when do the pre-orders for the game go live? Well, neither Rockstar Games nor Take-Two Interactive has said anything on this matter. So it is best to wait for this information. Given the past games Rockstar has released, it is likely that pre-orders would go live a month before the game comes out.

In other news, it was recently reported that the GTA 6 Trailer 2 is breaking records. On the first day, the Trailer crossed over 475 million views. This includes all the views from Rockstar’s YouTube channel, and their X and Instagram handles. Not only that, but the song featured in the trailer, “Hot Together”, is breaking records too.
