The excitement for GTA 6 is on another level. Not only are gamers excited, but lots of people from the gaming industry are looking forward to the release, both in good and bad ways! As we saw that Split Fiction’s Director wants GTA 6 to win GOTY instead of his own game. On the other hand, Publishers are worried and are ready to delay their games if GTA 6 releases this year. Between all this, we also got to hear from the former producer of Rockstar Games, Leslie Benzies, on his thoughts about GTA 6! Let’s see what he said.
Leslie Benzies On GTA 6
In an interview with Gaming Bible, the former producer of Rockstar Games, Leslie Benzies, was talking about his upcoming game, MindsEye. He was also asked about GTA 6, to which he said, “Absolutely. [There’s a] great amount of geniuses there always creating something new, unique and of a scale that very few others can actually pull off.”
This is the first time Leslie has talked about GTA 6, and even Rockstar Games for that matter, after he departed from the studio. Ever since his departure in 2016, we haven’t got to know much about why Leslie left. But he did file a lawsuit for $150 million against Rockstar Games, claiming unclaimed royalties. The lawsuit was later confidentially settled in 2019.
MindsEye New Trailer
Recently, the developers of MindsEye also released a new trailer for the game. It’s a small teaser, rather, that features the city of the game, Redrock. It showcases the transit system of the city, and along with that, it also shows the law enforcement. The teaser is titled, “Visit Redrock – Safest City In The World”
Right after the city teaser was released, Gamers started to demand the gameplay trailer as well! The official MindsEye X account replied to one of the tweets and said that it is “Coming Soon”. In other news, it was recently reported that Mafia: The Old Country’s release date has been leaked. The game will be released in August, and the gameplay will be showcased next month at an event. Mafia is one of the three big games that Take-Two Interactive is releasing this year!
