Well, the team made a new announcement, revealing an Official Modding Utility that would help with the newer Enhanced version. Let’s see what they had to say!
FiveM Official Modding Utility
This new modding utility was announced by a community post on their website, which reads, “With the newly announced free GTAV PC Upgrade, custom assets currently used on FiveM and GTAV Legacy will not be natively compatible with GTAV Enhanced. To assist the modding community in making their assets compatible with the new upgrade, we are working on a conversion tool”
The team also gave out technical bits to get an idea about the compatibility. Generic models, geometry, optional embedded textures and lights can be ported over. Not only that, but Complex fragmented like skeletons and models used for pedestrians, vehicles, destructible objects will also be supported. The team have just said, “We’re still finalising a release date, but please know that we’re currently focused on completing the final few tasks required to release the tool. Expect a full announcement and comprehensive documentation the day it releases.”
While we’re on the topic of GTA 5 Enhanced, a lot has happened recently. After the release, the game managed to set a very unique record, which most likely no other game would be able to set. However, not only that, but along with that it also managed to become the worst rated Rockstar Game on Steam so far. I wonder if the Rockstar developers are happy or sad after hearing about this?
